Well obviously, he doesn't know what he's missing. you're more than good. you're incredible. and he's gotta be a better artist than renoir if you think he's more talented at his craft than you are at yours.Cheetarah1980https://www.blogger.com/profile/07030323484936160187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10095069.post-1143333679132512912006-03-25T19:41:00.000-05:002006-03-25T19:41:00.000-05:00I've always wondered about the difference between ...I've always wondered about the difference between writing and other arts. I think part of it is that most people don't think they can paint, or sculpt, or whatever...but I haven't met a lot of people who don't think they can write. Sadly, most of them can't.

Those who don't blog, don't really get that the public nature of it is part of the art. Comments and feedback provide a certain validation for sure, but there's also a certain feeling of commitment that goes with knowing there are people who take the time to come and see what you've written.

I do a lot of editing of myself because of family that might read what I have to say, so I save my personal angers and what not for my journal. But blogging fills a need for interaction for me.

I really admire your candor when you write. Writing about personal things that mean a lot to you can be difficult, but it's brave too.Shawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06247567992274342429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10095069.post-1143322434099687232006-03-25T16:33:00.000-05:002006-03-25T16:33:00.000-05:00It is for the best that he doesn't read it, and I ...It is for the best that he doesn't read it, and I seriously envy you. I really wish that my husband, my friends and my family didn't read my blog....I never know what will set them off, which makes no sense, because mine is basically completely anonymous!

When it comes to your writing talent, unless he is not half as bright as you portray him to be on this blog, I'm sure he fully recognizes it and admires it and tells everyone and their brother how great it is.

You haven't written anything here that you couldn't say to him directly, and men just seem to "get it" better that way.portuguesa novahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03664291195500818577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10095069.post-1143301880650282832006-03-25T10:51:00.000-05:002006-03-25T10:51:00.000-05:00Thank you all so much for the encouragement. I would turn off the tv or the computer at the sound of guitar strings. He stopped reading my blog for no apparent reason. I felt like he didnt care enough to read.

I mean, c'mon, I dont care who it is,if there were a diary sitting on a table...anyone would open it and read. If only out of curiosity. I wanted to yell..why arent you interested in the things that *I* love??

This blog is for you and if the people reading dont care or will get offended... arent in your life for YOU..theyre obviously in it for themselves. I say keep writing because you shouldnt ever have to apologize for the way you feel.Jasikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13773520375569661039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10095069.post-1143247587345841652006-03-24T19:46:00.000-05:002006-03-24T19:46:00.000-05:00yeah, do it for us because we appreciate your art ...yeah, do it for us because we appreciate your art - I love your writing too.The Editterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16656000178697454370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10095069.post-1143227733000888262006-03-24T14:15:00.000-05:002006-03-24T14:15:00.000-05:00I totally understand the way that you feel about y...I totally understand the way that you feel about your blog. I have found that many of the blogs I read are the only creative outlet for incredibly intelligent people who aren't being stimulated creatively enough in other aspects of their life. You are one of these people.

Your writing is good. Although I don't always agree with what you say, I always appreciate and respect the way you've written it.

I think that you expressed your reasons for blogging beautifully and you should express these feelings to Billy. Don't worry about tears. They're honest.

Don't stop blogging because I would miss you :).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10095069.post-1143226507871502622006-03-24T13:55:00.000-05:002006-03-24T13:55:00.000-05:00Your writing is wonderful! So, now my blog is censored AND not worthy of his eyes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
